We offer on site, side-by-side, fresh, and chilled shipped semen on all our health tested, accomplished Lab Stud Dogs.
How do I breed to a Twisted Clovers Labrador?
1 - Request.
Send us an e-mail, text, or message with your inquiry.
2 - Approval.
Once we have approved your breeding, you should fill out our stud contract and sign it. You’ll also pay our non-refundable service fee of $500 before shipment is sent and order any required supplies.
3 - Shipping.
Keep in touch while you are testing your girl! We’ll need to plan for your shipment during the day. We will UPS your shipment so that it arrives overnight to your home, kennel, or veterinarian office.

Twisted Clovers Stud Services require a $500 Service Fee, due at the time of shipping. The Service fee includes 2 shipments based on your bitch’s progesterone testing. The Remainder of the Stud Fee is due after your litter is born.

All Associated Breeding Expenses - Kits, Shipping, Progesterone Testing are the responsibility of the bitch owner and must be purchased separately.

Stud Fees begin at $2,500.00 on most dogs. The most up to date information is available in their stud contracts. Please refer there for all pricing.

We offer a non- refundable service fee due at the time of the breeding with the remainder of the stud fee due when the litter is born. The Service fee is due at the time of breeding or prior to the first shipment of semen, no exceptions. The remaining balance is due forty-eight (48) hours after whelping 2 or more live puppies.
Two breedings will be conducted, with either the bitch and stud dog present on site with two certified-viable chilled semen collections, or with frozen semen shipped which will be shipped to a licensed veterinarian chosen by the bitch owner or directly to the bitch owner. All costs associated with the purchase of the semen, collection/shipping kits, the actual collection, all shipping fees, veterinary fees, and insemination costs will be borne by the bitch owner.

The contract guarantees only the actual mating of the listed dogs, not a pregnancy or puppies.

A successful breeding is defined as two live healthy puppies within forty-eight (48) hours after whelping.

The stud fee for Twisted Clovers Labradors ranges from $2,500.00 -4,500.00 (USD).

A non-refundable $500.00 (US) service fee is due at the time of breeding, with the remainder balance of the stud fee due when the litter is born.

Heath clearances such as:
● Hips & Elbows- (OFA or PennHip)
● Current Eye Exam
● Heart Excam (Echo or auscultation)
● Genetic testing (if a dog carries a specific disease)
● Dilute testing (at our discretion)
● Progesterone level indicating estimated ovulation time are required.

All of our stud dogs have above CHIC standard health testing. The stud dog has at minimum OFA hip clearance, elbow clearance, ACVO/CERF Eye Clearance, OFA Cardiac Clearance: Clear by Cardiologist with a Color Doppler, and DNA testing in over 200+ genetic tests.

Two breedings will be conducted, either on-site or with chilled semen collections shipped to a vet or the bitch owner.

All costs are the responsibility of the bitch owner.

The bitch owner is responsible for all veterinary fees.

Serum progesterone levels, determined through blood samples drawn by a vet and sent for analysis. Not all in house progesterone machines give accurate numbers, the bitch owners should make sure that the vet they are working with has some type of reproduction knowledge and experience.

Online registration can be done at akc.org using twistedcloversLLC@gmail.com, with approval by Twisted Clovers Labradors after full payments.

The stud dog owners will sign only after all associated fees are paid in full.

Yes, Twisted Clovers Labradors does allow dual sire litters. However, it's important to note that all puppies from dual sire litters must undergo DNA testing with the American Kennel Club (AKC). This requirement ensures accurate parentage verification and maintains the integrity of pedigrees

If you let us know you need semen by 1 pm CST the day you want your semen to arrive, we can easily plan and get your shipment out the door!

Yes, we examine every sample under the microscope, before it goes out the door.

No. Stud dog management involves knowing which days certain dogs are available. If the chosen dog is unavailable, we may ask you to choose a different dog.

The service fee is non-refundable or transferable.

We don't engage in selling puppies from other breeders, unless they are co-bred with Twisted Clovers Labradors. We will occasionally share posts on social media about the puppies sired by our studs.

Twisted Clovers and the integrity of our breeding program is important to us. We may make an exception to the use of our kennel name with a prior conversation. Otherwise, no.

We reserve the right to refuse stud service for any reason.
● We only service purebred AKC Labradors or Labradors registered with an affiliate and recognized Kennel Club.
● No crossbreeding or breeding to non-standard colors is allowed.
